The topic of healing our inner child is close to my heart and something I have personally worked on, & no doubt will work on again, but is also something often worked on with my clients.
Bringing healing to our inner child can be simple or complex, it can incorporate a broad spectrum of things, depending on the type of healing needed. For example, giving our child self the nurturing & support they may not have experienced when needed, giving our teen self a voice, reconnecting with play, bringing back our sense of wonder, recognising negative thought or behaviour patterns instilled in our formative years, to name a few.
It is important to our healing journey to address the hurts & trauma of childhood, or any other time, that put us in survival mode, in order to restore our nervous system to its proper resting state, and sense of safety.
As amazing as all healing modalities can be, they should be used to compliment other therapies, not replace it, particularly if you are dealing with severe trauma. This work is not to be taken lightly, particularly if you are working through old wounds or working to release negative programming, it can be very triggering.
I highly recommend seeking the assistance of a trauma-informed practitioner, someone who is trained to work with the nervous system or a professional therapist, when needed, to balance out your healing.

PINK AMETHYST - Aids in releasing emotional trauma. Assists in creating a loving connection with your inner child. Heart healing. Beautiful soothing energy.
ZEBRA JASPER OR KAMBABA JASPER - Both very grounding stones offering courage in dealing with the past. They have a very stabilising energy & offer protection & balance as you navigate your inner worlds & do your soul work. Zebra Jasper can aid in lifting illusion & seeing a person as they are.
CHRYSOPRASE - Another beautiful nurturing crystal. Assists in releasing pent-up emotions from childhood & fear-based emotion. Encourages optimism & focus on positive events. Very calming energy. Aids in forgiveness & heart healing.

And remember to seek help when you need it. Healing is a journey, but it doesn't mean we have to travel alone, reach out to professionals, therapists, practitioners or trusted friends and family for guidance & support, when you need it.
